The London Tea Company – Green Tea Tropical

I’ve never heard of LT Company prior to now. My sister brought some tea back from London during her visit home, and brought back 3 canisters of London Teas. These teas are quite different, as they’re not like “herbal teas”, it’s more like flavourful hot water – which is great for me, since I need to drink more water!

I really like the canisters, as its not only looks really neat, it’s got a cool top, keeping the tea leaves fresh.

After you steep the tea, the tea bag is really good for making another cup or two! Also, you can just put one tea bag for a tea pot! It’s a great product as a single tea bag lasts for a long time! This Green Tea Tropical scent/flavour is really subtle, which is quite nice!

Christie – Oreo Sipper

I went to grab a box of cookies, that’s is different, and I came home with Christies brand cookies! It was Oreo Sippers which is suppose to be a delicious straw, which becomes perfect for dunking into milk. These Oreo Sippers are wafer cookies, which is light and not too sweet!

I made the mistake of having a giant glass of milk in a tall glass. My oreo sipper was really short, and it was funny! I actually took so long taking a picture that the entire “sipper” became all soggy!

These wafer cookies come in twin wrapped package, and I actually prefer having these “with” milk, instead of using them like a straw – due to the fact it does get soggy so quickly! It’s even really good, even enjoyed alone! So, I would get these treats again!

Nong Shim – Chapagetti Chajang Noodle

Not often I crave instant noodles, but while being sick, all I want is food that was quick, easy, and delicious. It’s important to know that I love the brand Nong Shim and many other brands – but I know if I see it’s a Nong Shim brand, I know that the quality is there!

These instant noodles are “lo mein” style, so you cook the noodles, and then drain the noodles dry before you pour the sauce on the noodles. I must admit, I didn’t use their package of oil, and I used my own oil… and a splash of sesame oil. I did use the other 2 packages – the sauce and the “vegetables”. The sauce is suppose to mimic the “black bean sauce”, but not as strong, but I do get the resemblance! This maybe because it’s suppose to be more “Korean-style”, instead of “Chinese-style”.

The overall quality of these noodles are really good. The sauce is rich and salty. I would buy this again, just because it’s a lo mein style, but I won’t do it when I’m sick. I think I enjoy the hot soup when I’m not well – but this was really good!

CP Authentic Asia – Shrimp Wonton Soup with Noodles

When you’re not in the mood to cook, and you’re craving some Shrimp Wonton Soup with Noodles, I would recommend stocking up some CP Authentic Asia brand frozen Shrimp Wonton Soup with Noodles. These convenient frozen meals are just a few minutes away from a perfect meal!

To prepare the wonton soup, just add some water to the “fill line” that is marked on the bowl, which is basically the ridge on the bowl. Then, simply place the lid on (but not tight – just cover it) and zap it in the microwave!

After you pull this out of the microwave (carefully, as it’s hot!), you’re already ready to enjoy your wontons, with noodles! The noodles actually have a good texture to it – considering it was frozen, and just water was added.

Macleod Sushi & BBQ

All you can eat sushi is all I can say! We made it here with my sister and brother-in-law one evening after an exhausting day at the zoo. Needless to say, we were starving and figured we should eat at a place that offered “unlimited” food! This location is located on the west side of Macleod trail, and it’s a fairly large restaurant.

This restaurant is really neat, and it offers both Korean BBQ and sushi options. We ordered food from both, and the food was extremely delicious. I really enjoyed the seasoned raw meat that I got to cook on the BBQ on the middle of our table! It was such a fun experience!

The neat thing about this location, when you order “1 order” of something, you actually only get “ONE” item! It really helps as they know eventually you get full… so, in a way, they’re helping you out on sampling their food! My example would be the Salmon Teriyaki, as you can see, there’s only one piece! Not all of the plates of food was like this, but they were small portions!

My favourite sushi rolls from here would be Mango and Crispy Roll as well as the Smoked Salmon Roll

I really enjoyed all the sushi from here! It was actually better than the Korean BBQ, even though it was fun! The plates of sushi came out fast, the food was fresh and delicious!

To top of the entire eating experience here at Macleod Sushi & BBQ, dessert!! I ordered a bowl of Mango Tapica Pudding which was great as I got to leave this restaurant on such a high note. With a great dessert, it makes this restaurant really memorable!

Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant. It was never a place I thought about going to, but I’m so glad we stopped in! It has now become on the top of my list for sushi, all you can eat!
